Let not the Fear
Let not the fear of the night rob the bliss of the day.
Let not the dread of "perhaps" this moment’s joy give away.
For we are small in our vision and of limited scope
That we should deny us the balm of a possible hope.
What can we see of the shape of the day that we dread?
Tis but a glimpse, for so blind is the way that we tread.
What can we do for defence ‘gainst a doom that’s ahead
Is not a thing to be done, not a thing to be said.
So lie in His love
So rest in His calm
He is bigger than hate
And greater than harm
So stop writhing, stop sighing and yield to his sway.
Let not the fear of the night rob the joy of the day.

Perhaps I should have a blog spot. I might include some of my poetry. So here goes......
