The Tyranny of Time
Let not the past
hold you in thrall
Forever bound in
bonds of regulation.
Tradition is a
useful tool
But dangerous in its
adulation.
Let not the day to
come, destroy
With fears of what
may come or not
And half born
niggles that annoy
What precious or joy
we’ve got.
Embrace the God who
is today,
Eternal yet forever
now.
His constancy will
now allay
Your fears and so
sweet peace allow.
